Balta1701
QUOTE(fathom @ May 30, 2005 -> 03:05 PM) Don't get your hopes up. I've heard nothing to suggest he'll be gone. Hell, he's Ozzie's first choice off the bench. A fact which is totally beyond me when Carl Everett is sitting there. Your number 2 guy in RBI's or a guy hitting below .200. Who would you pick? Flash Tizzle
QUOTE(fathom @ May 30, 2005 -> 04:05 PM) That was close, I thought it had a chance to get out. Marte should be in to face Anderson here. Buehlre luckily escaped this inning. Regardless of pitch count, Buehrle should not begin the 9th inning. 4th time around for these Angels, who have taken their hacks against Mark, spells trouble. Milkman delivers
QUOTE(Texsox @ May 30, 2005 -> 05:05 PM) I'm guessing with the upcoming roster move we may have seen the last of Timo for a while. We've already thought that. It didn't happen then, hopefully it does now.

Frankensteiner
Note to those saying many posters here are too negative after losses. Even if the Sox hang on to win this game, I will still be pissed. With the exception of Buehrle, this has just been a pathetic effort.
fathom
QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ May 30, 2005 -> 10:07 PM) how serious is this frank injury? It's not an injury that feels good. When you're the size of Thomas, you're not going to heal very quickly. I bet we saw the last of Frank for the next 4-5 days, if not more.

There are some serious issues on this team right now, and even if you win one game, it doesn't mean they're gone. Not to mention the fact that a lot of us questioned whether or not we could count on Thomas to stay healthy, and it took him one time running on the bases to get hurt again.
