Leonard Zelig
There's no beer in the bleachers?!?! Dammit, I am driving 6 hours to go to the game on Friday. I bought bleacher tickets online. If I cannot get a beer I will be pissed.

And it has been like this on half price nights for some time now, you can only get 1 beer per person at a time.

It's just their effort to keep the drunks from getting too out of control. It seemed to be working yesterday because I was in the bleachers and it wasn't too bad at all. The worst was when some guy, not even completely hammered, in front of me screamed "f*** You!" when PK grounded into a DP, but there was a priest in the section over and he yelled at them. It was really funny seeing the Priest yell at the drunk.

I am planning on running onto the field and raising some hell, and I usually need some liquid courage before I can do that. The Critic
I am completely fine with this policy. If you make the f***heads chase their beer, one of two things will happen: They will either drink less, or be away from their seats for a while as they chase the beer. Either situation is a winner for those who suffer around them. I'll gladly get a beer from a stand myself - it's a fair exchange.

If morons could handle their beer, this would have never happened.

Having been to other parks on the west coast (Seattle, San Francisco, Oakland, Anaheim and Los Angeles), none of them have beer sales in the stands. I wonder how much longer they will still do this in Chicago. Personally, I like not having to wait in lines and missing the game but I understand how it makes it much easier to get plastered. LosMediasBlancas
IIRC, there are no beer vendors in any of the seats at Fenway.
