Jabroni
I heard Mac, Jurko and Harry saying that Timo doesn't even have a firstbaseman's glove to use. I know this sounds crazy, but they said he was using a regular fielder's glove at first base and couldn't use Konerko's, for some reason . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I heard that. They said he had to go get one with from the dugout.

rafacosta
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 07:04 PM) Is Konerko being a jagoff and not letting him use it? Yesterday during the game, I was thinking (after a 0-4 night for PK), maybe PK needs a day off. However, Timo playing 1st base...that's ridiculous. Where is Gload? He should have been called, moreover, we dont have any power LH from the bench (Timo and his .192 is far away from power!).
EvilJester99
They said on ABC7 that Timo actually played 1B over in Japan some time ago... either way Ozzie really needs to decipher between that "gut feeling" and indigestion....
He_Gawn
For those of you that were asking why timo couldnt use pauly's glove, its because he's left handed and pauly is right.

Balta1701
Well...Contreras threw a fastball good enough to break A.J.'s glove...I think that's a good sign.
SoxFan1
Timo scares me at 1st. Count going full on everyone does too...
Balta1701
Big out here...2 outs in the first, 1st and 2nd, McPherson up. Count did some good work on Anderson, but again the walks already look to be a question. At least he's getting ahead of most everyone he faces. Balta1701
Pods with a nice bunt single to lead off the game. Great to see him using his speed. It seems like its been a while. He better be on 2nd within a few pitches.
fathom
Am I the only one who absolutely hates when we bunt with Pods on first? We're much better off letting him try and steal 2nd, and then bunting him over to 3rd. Just a thought.
He_Gawn
Sox playing small ball to start the game. Uribe gets the bunt down. Scotty on 2nd.
