Game Story

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (Ticker) -- Guillermo Reyes and Scott

Bikowski each hit an RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning

to lift the Birmingham Barons to a 5-4 victory over the Orlando

Rays. Reyes' one-out single tied the score at 4-4 and, after

Danny Sandoval walked, Bikowski brought home Jon Acevas with the

winning run. Tetsu Yofu (1-1) allowed just an unearned run and

three hits in three innings to pick up the win, Birmingham's

third straight. Enemencio Pacheco started for the Barons and

allowed only an unearned run and four hits over five innings,

lowering his ERA to 0.47. J.J. Gomes reached on an infield

single and scored on an error in the top of the 11th inning for

Orlando, which had its losing streak extended to six games. Alex

Santos (1-1) gave up two runs and five hits over 1 1/3 innings

to suffer the loss.
