soxfan420
call me crazy but i really wouldnt mind seeing pods iguchi thomas arow(brake up some double plays) konerko AJ Dye uribe/harris crede/uribe i would also like to see a lot more harris at SS. I also think uribe/widger should play at 3b depending on whos hot., Harris at CF shifting arow to right once in a while would be nice too(unless dye picks it up) BTW if harris proves to be a liabilty at SS we could always play uribe still. he is fast and walks a bunch and i think he might be learning to steal more with some new coaches. ohhh and he hits lefty. and if he can play SS making ozuna(maybe AAA) expendable if harris can play SS timo as no place. walker should get more mop up innings(just to see he cant be much worse than viz) while he is still up here and if he is no better o well. i think it maybe time for a call up baj/adkins(maybe he is not a sp, but solid last year in the pen.) and maybe put viz/shinjo on the d/l with minor league stint

nitetrain8601
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 02:24 PM) Konerko batting 7th? Do you just go around trying to annoy the hell out of me? The question asked what I would like my lineup to be so I gave it. Give your own lineup and move on. Stop quoting me in every single post to try to mock me and get your little kick out of it. I didn't see anywhere in the thread title saying, "What would you like your lineup to be and annoy the hell out of the poster you don't agree with." Maybe that's hidden. jerseysox
1. Podsednik 2. Rowand 3. Iguchi 4. Konerko 5. Thomas 6. Pierzynski 7. Dye 8. Crede 9. Uribe I've always believed your best hitter should hit third. To me, it's Tad. He's shown power in Japan, and I think he'd be even better than he is now hitting third. I still can't get over the fact HOT CARL pinch hit for him on Monday. I don't think you can make Widger a four-day-a-week guy, because he's shown throughout his career he's not good. The reason why he's doing as well as he is, is because he's not playing everyday. I put Thomas fifth because A) he's not the Frank we all know and love, and B) he's just a little less apt to clog the bases compared to if he was hitting third. I could easily flip flop him and Konerko if Thomas shows he's hot. And him hitting fifth isn't really a slap in the face. A-Rod hits fifth 95 percent of the time. I could live with Willie hitting ninth and playing short as well. And in the "Paul Konerko isn't the worst baseball player on the planet" department, he's hit into five double plays. Rowand has hit into three. Big difference. Edited June 1, 2005 by jerseysox

WHarris1
I would like to see PK sit down for like 4 months. I'm so sick of that guy, he is an automatic out and looks lost up at the dish. Ozzie always says about Frank that he plays if he hits and doesn't play if he doesn't hit. Why is the same system not employed with PK? Exactly why that Paulie chant should stop at the Cell until he learns to be more than a GDP/Popout hitter who occasionally gets a HR. I say if AJ batted in his spot, he would be within 5 of RBI's of what PK has now.

soxfan420
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 12:43 PM) Harris at SS :headshake Widger at 3B :puke Walker pitching at all widger one once or twice a month walker cant be any worse than viz and shinjo, why not give him a shot in meaning less innings Harris at SS i thought i explained that well enough up above He walks, can steal bases, hit for decent average and nice obp, if he can play adequate deffense it would make it so we could play uribe more at third and possibly be the end to credes starting days. im not saying i would make willie the starting SS, i would just like to see what he can do there, if he f***s up he never can play there again, but if not it opens the door to many other possiblites.
