Jizzcan was awesome because he only gave up 2 inherited runs (that don't count against his ERA) and he loaded the bases the next inning.

so he gave you a scare in the 7th inning i mean hermanson gave up more runs then him and i dont see people pissed off at him!

I would hate to see what people consider a ''badly'' pitched game by vizcaino.

The bullpen has been pretty shaky lately. It seems they have 3 balls on every batter they face. Hermanson wasn't exactly lights out tonight either.

Look at their respective ERA's. One of them has been consistently bad and one of them has been consistently good.

JUST THE PEN! Jebus, if he is clueless about the pen then what the hell was he thinking putting our shortest player on 1b. Clueless, Idiotic, Moronic,or just plain ignorant about how to manage a baseball team once the first pitch is thrown,this si the Ozzie I have come to know and HATE

Hm, hermanson has been lights out the entire season and has a stiff back at the moment i believe. Vizcaino has been lights out also if you consider giving up at least one run in half of his appearances. But if we throw out his six worst appereances he wouldn't even be too bad.

And how do you make the comparison of Hermanson to viz in the first place?

The move that ticked me off the most is, Timo starting at 1st.  Worst player in MLB to start at that position.

He doesn't drop that throw to 1st and this thread doesn't exist. Timo is f***ing horrible.

Just a question: are you referring to Walker as a rookie?

Yeah, I thought about that after posting, but I assumed the point was understood. Walker is a virtual rookie, having pitched 28 2/3 since 2001 and only 95 in his career. At this point, at the big league level, evaluating his performance is no different than evaluating a rookie.

Viz has been lights out alright. He comes in you may as well go to bed and save yourself the agony of watching another 2-3 runs cross the plate making a close game a blowout.

Ummm, no. Walker is not a rookie.

That's true, but is it his fault he is put in a position he has never played? He was set-up to fail, and fail he did. AJ's throw could have been a lot better, but that play is made in most little league games.

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 09:41 PM)
Is it just coincidence, or has Ozzie's handling of the bullpen and line-ups gotten even more questionable since his contract extension?

Timo played first base, that was the only thing that i needed to conclude that OZZIE IS INSANE.....at least for this game.
