I know Ozzie is Ozzie, and there is not much method to his madness some time.

 

But what bothered me the most about the loss two days back is why was Uribe allowed to hit with Paulie on the bench?

 

Yes, Uribe has been the better hitter this year (not that it means much when compared to paulie), but given we were down 3, and a double would have tied the game and a HR would have won the game, why was Paulie not used as a PH there. We could have always replaced Uribe with Willie at SS and inserted Gooch for 2B.

 

Anyone?

Uribe missed a game-winning grand slam by five feet.

 

Konerko would have had no chance against K-Rod, the way he's started off this season.

 

Juan got a hanging pitch, hit it, but was just a tenth of a second too quick. Move on to Cleveland.
