Cubs are about to win the series against the Padres. They are up 10-1 in the rubber match with little to no chance for the Padres to win.

i think its a 4 game series not sure though

Thanks, Knightni takes all credit for making it. I gave him a idea, and he came up with a work of art  :lolhitting. I love it.

The only problem is it seems he is not going to Charlotte, and instead it is going to be Willie

You worship the Cubs without knowing the facts.  You must be the one breaking down.

I do not worship the Cubs, dumbass. Appreciating good baseball/good baseball players is something you should learn. The Cubs have at least 5 players I would love to have right now on our team.

Mark Prior - no explanation needed

Derrick Lee - no explanation needed

Aramis Ramirez - no explanation needed

Jeremy Burnitz > Dead

Neifi Perez > Uribe

With Aramis' contract right now, i'll stick with Cruddy even though it kills me to say that. :crying

Cubs just won the series 3-1 against the Padres. In case some of you here did not know

Yep, and beat the great pitches of Tim Stauffer, D. May, and Woody Williams. Padres are also a team that is battling a lot of health problems with the flu. It was a pathetic hitting performance by the Padres this weekend though.

Is this the same Mariotti who said that the Sox weren't beating anyone over .500?

What? I was just pointing out that they won a series against the Padres when the Padres were nowhere close to 100 percent. Because the baseball world makes it seem like the Cubs are the only team with any injuries, I find it funny that they've been in a ton of games lately where the starting pitcher they were supposed to face didn't pitch that game, and they faced weaker replacements.
