danman31
QUOTE(Jake @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 07:10 PM) isnt mccarthy due to start? Yes. It's McCarthy vs. Zach Duke, #1 Pirates prospect. Heck of a pitching matchup. Top 1st: Spidale walked. Gutierrez flew out to deep right. Anderson hit a liner right to the SS. Toca K'd looking. danman31
Btm 1: Duffy K'd swinging. BMac got ahead early and the hitter had no chance at that point. Crespo K'd looking. Sick curve to send him back to the bench. McLouth flew out to left.

BHAMBARONS
Montgomery 7 Barons 0 W- Autrey L- Villcais Not much good in this game, Both Eduardo and Ryan Meaux were roughed up. Delmon Young is an awsome player has all the tools and will be ready soon for Tampa. Barons 3 Montgomery 1 W-Lubisich (7-3) L- Shields (0-1) Sv- Jenks (13) Lubisich was outstanding tonight ahead of every hitter had a great sinker nothing hit hard gave up 3 hits 2 infield. Andy Gonzalez had 2 great games hit the ball hard and played some great Defense, One on a deflection off villcais glove reached out barehanded snaged the ball while still holding the bag then threw flat footed to 1st for a DP. Also made a great throw from the hole 10 feet into LF to nail a runner. Also had 4-6 day at the plate with a long triple and crushed the ball today really likeing the 2 hole. Jerry Owens had a couple hits including a Triple love to watch him run. Josh Fields showed some signs of life a base hit to right drove a ball to the wall in both right and left field. Glad to hear A-Gon is doing well, and hopefully Fields can turn it around. BTW, thanks a ton for your in-depth game recaps. I know everyone appreciates them, and although others have already told you thanks for doing this, I haven't yet, so thanks!
Pauly8509CWS
Anyone see JoBo's HR, he was behind in the count 1-2 and came back and worked it to 3-2 and then on the 3-2 pitch he hit an absolute bomb into right center. Kudos to Borchard for the whole AB, i was betting with a buddy on which pitch he'd strikeout on lol.
DBAHO
Tom, How's Fields doin on the pitch low and away still. IIRC you said that was his main problems a week or 2 back, which was the same problem A-Row had early last year. If he trying to pull the ball too much, or is hitting the opposite way on that pitch?
