ptatc
I sit in the left field bleachers and have worked innmuerable baseballgames. The starting pitcher as near as I can remember always long tosses with the starting catcher in the OF before the game. Today Garland long tossed to Man Soo Lee while AJ warmed up with Art Kuysner. Garland stood next to Art while AJ was next to Man Soo. Does anyone recall seeing this before? Is there animosity between Garland and AJ? I just don't recall seeing this before and was curious. JDsDirtySox
I heard Garland wants to fight AJ, cause AJ yelled BOO-YAH when Kevin Mench hit the blast off of him in Texas. Edited June 5, 2005 by JDsDirtySox

If a mod reads this please erase the thread. I don't want to start a rumor.

Last game I was at, Buehrle threw with Man Soo as well. Same thing with Contreras. No big deal.
valponick
I've been to 8 games this year and always sit in the outfield and honestly I can't remember a game where the starting pitcher DIDN'T play long toss with Man Soo

Always Man Soo. Oh no are you saying that all our starters hate AJ and wont work with him well? seriously we have a good catcher now but last year we might as well used Man Soo as our major league catcher. JUGGERNAUT
Man Soo is a staple with this organization. I read a column months past where they said he helps the pitchers relax more. If you had your choice between warming up with the gentile & affable Man Soo or the hard nosed straight faced AJ .. who would you choose?
