CWSGuy406
It's not a big deal to me, but is there any reason why Garcia isn't running out any of his groundballs today?
fathom
What happened to Pods and his patient approach? He's walked twice in his last 18 games.
WHarris1
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 6, 2005 -> 09:03 PM) It's not a big deal to me, but is there any reason why Garcia isn't running out any of his groundballs today? Don't chance anything after leaving with a sore hammy? Also, with the added difficulty when you breathe I wouldn't bother.
EvilJester99
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 6, 2005 -> 08:03 PM) It's not a big deal to me, but is there any reason why Garcia isn't running out any of his groundballs today? I am just guessing its due to not wanting to hurt that hammy again
Balta1701
QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 6, 2005 -> 07:04 PM) What happened to Pods and his patient approach? He's walked twice in his last 18 games. What happened to Crede and trying to keep his swing plane level and his shoulder closed?
Chisoxfn
If its anything other than his Hammy, then its s***. Its not that hard to run something out. Another 1-2-3 inning after a deep flyout to center.
fathom
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 02:08 AM) What happened to Crede and trying to keep his swing plane level and his shoulder closed? Crede's been much better recently. Just like with Cotts, I'm not sure why people still complain about players even though they're performing well at the time. Uribe's offense is hurting us a hell of a lot more than Crede's performance right now.
Balta1701
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 6, 2005 -> 07:09 PM) If its anything other than his Hammy, then its s***. Its not that hard to run something out. Another 1-2-3 inning after a deep flyout to center. Heck...even if he's feeling fine, the last thing we want is a hurt starter. Or hell, even if he's saving his legs to keep himself fresher on the mound, i'm fine with it. It's not like these guys are exactly accustomed to the air up there. Milkman delivers
Nice job by AJ (though a decently fast hitter gets to third there). Glad to see us getting some runs.

Balta1701
QUOTE(kman @ Jun 6, 2005 -> 07:38 PM) jd is really starting to come into his own. He's hitting .368 in June. As bad as he was the first month and a half...the pendulum was bound to swing the other way. I think he'll be hitting .260 or so by the end of June, which is starting to get up to where he should be. If guys like him get their average up to normal, non-terrible numbers, then this team will be very hard to beat. Ever.
