CWSGuy406
I'm praying Teagarden falls to #95, but I'm not expecting it. That JuCo pitcher, Maiques, interests me.
Palehosefan
"Jacob Marceaux, RHP (HSer could have gone earlier, compared to Oswalt)" is there two Jacob Marceaux'? I had him going in the 1st round to the Marlins at 29 at a RHP McNeese State.
Cerbaho-WG
Thanks to Heads elite stalking skills, I just called and talked to Lance Broadway. He said he'd do an interview with FutureSox. We're so lame.
danman31
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 01:44 PM) I doubt the Sox would grab Danks, but he's a freaking stud. Yeah, it would be interesting to see when he falls. It doesn't look like he will sign, but it's been done before.
Randar68
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 12:27 PM) Haven't heard much on Moviel, I remember the Sox signed and drafted his brother Paul hoping to grab Greg. Moviel is still at Vandy. I think he was hurt earlier in the year, couldn't find his name at their web site, but he cam back towards the end of the season although he only had 1 start and 8 2/3 IP the entire year... Chisoxfn
f***ing hell...great pick by the Dbacks. Neighborgall may not have the numbers, but has the arm.

Chisoxfn
Micah Owings goes and it sounds like he'll be kept as a pitcher. I've been an Owings fan for some time. Very good two way player.
Guest JimH
RHP Jason Neighborgall to the D-Backs with the first pick of round 3. He was a holdout guy, a Boras guy, correct?
fathom
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 06:50 PM) f***ing hell...great pick by the Dbacks. Neighborgall may not have the numbers, but has the arm. As I'm sure you know, he has absolutely no control. GT can't even pitch him in big games because he's more of a threat to walk in 5 runs than he is to give you 3 solid innings. daa84
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 12:27 PM) Haven't heard much on Moviel, I remember the Sox signed and drafted his brother Paul hoping to grab Greg. Hodges has flat raked, man would if of been nice if the Sox signed a couple of those guys. Its cool how Hodges broke his hammate and learned how to rake from the other side of the plate and is now a switch hitter. I remember you always loved Hodges. im personal friends with moviel, and hes bombed at vandy barely gettin any innings, but man what a frame on that kid. big strong lefty...if only he could throw strikes

Ya, but with the guys they drafted there its nice taking a guy like him and taking a shot. Stuff is amazing.

Chisoxfn
I could see them going with a hitter, potentially shortstop. Of course the Sox love taking pitchers and if they do I expect it to be a power pitcher.
