Chisoxfn
Thats it, I find it highly unlikely that Teagarden will sign. He'll get picked by someone, but odds are he'll be back at the collegiate level another year (unless someone steps up with supplemental round money). Sounds like a Donny Lucy type, good defense, questionable (projecting) bat. BTW -- f*** not taking Suzuki last year.

daa84
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 12:56 PM) Mullins...thats a kid I really like. yeah imo hes a steal in the third round, he outpitched sowers last year, and coming into this year he was talked about in teh same light as hochever. hes a perfect fit for the sox and had he not gotten the DUI (blew a .09, legal limit .08) he woulda kept on schedule and been a potential first rounder. he tailed off at the end of the year some but we'll see. im hoping that the sox will take him

Cerbaho-WG
I'm fairly sure we drafted him several years ago.
fathom
What do we know about Brooks?
Chisoxfn
The Sox had drafted him in 2003. I'm trying to think, I may of done his writeup, the name was really familiar and he may of been the guy that I remember reading about who had really good stuff but was pretty much not gonna sign (was pretty raw). Let me look around.

CWSGuy406
My brother just read his statline to me -- 77 IP, 70 K's, 20 BB's, 8 HR's. Doesn't sound real appealing...

Chisoxfn
He was taken a round ahead of Donald Veal. 322 Richard Brooks RHP North Tonawanda (N.Y.) HS That was where he was selected in 2003. Teagarden is off the board now.
jackie hayes
QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 07:05 PM) Sounds like a "Stretch" Speaking of "stretch" -- he's 6'2" and 165 lb. Now that's some kind of thin.
