Chisoxfn
Nice, Shingo gets the job done. Didn't look too bad. I still say his biggest problem is control. If he gets that solved, he'll be back to his 04 form. Problem is he isn't going to find it pitching once a freaking month (exaggeration) and he's best suited spending a couple weeks down in Charlotte pitching 2 out of every 3 days. Balta1701
Well...Shingo took on Coors field and Todd Helton and didn't explode. Maybe that's a small good sign? (I hope). Good work Freddie & Shingo getting the rest of the pen a day off.

Chisoxfn
Rocks announcers said it was one of the best games they've ever seen pitched at Coors (obviously Nomo's no-no would be #1 on the list or so I assume). Freddy was flat out dynomite minus that 1st inning (where he really made one bad pitch and fell behind to two batters). Impressive performance and wow did the offense look smooth (tons of basehits, lots of two out rallies, me likey). GO SOX
greasywheels121
Freddy pitched himself a hell of a ballgame from innings 2 through 8. Let's see the Sox get 20 games over the .500 mark tomorrow night.

Kalapse
That is the way this team is supposed to play. Stringing together hits and dominate starting pitching. This was a prototypical game.

SoxFan562004
Man, watching Freddy tonight was awesome. That outing would have been impressive anywhere, but in Colorado it was amazing
southsideirish71
Nice win On another note, you have Frank Thomas who needs AB's. You have a pinch hitting situation. What do you do? A.) Bat Frank let him get as many AB's during this series. Future HOF B.) Bat Everett, he needs his Abs also C.) Bat the fluffer, because your bed will be lonely if you piss off OMIT Ozzie predictably bats his lover and personal fluffer Mr. 197BA. Who promptly swings at the first pitch pulling it softly to the 2nd baseman. Timo runs back to the dugout, gets a playful pat on the ass from Ozzie and then a look of you are going to get a good romp later from Timo. f***ING get over your LOVER OZZIE. Great pitching effort by Garcia. Nice offense tonight. Walker has learned japanese. Gooch is now pulling the ball more, and his hips are flying open trying to pull the outside pitch. Walker has not seen a hitter he cant turn into pull only. f***er.
