I caught Sportscenter last night, and was treated to a video highlight of another typical Minnesota Twins victory. I don't neccessarily classify 'typical Minnesota victory' as luck, because they've been doing it for years, but watching them win these games on good fortune is their M.O.

Hunter attempts to steal second, Valverde throws and the ball deflects off Cintron's glove. Should have been out. Hunter takes a huge turn for third, appears to be caught between bases. But Counsell's throw from short CF to Cintron is high. Tagged not applied quickly enough.

To no one's surprise, Jacque Jones singles in Hunter for the eventual winning run. And yet again, this instance scoring at homeplate, Hunter barely escaped ANOTHER tag. Minnesota worked with 5 outs that inning.

Only thing more fitting would have been a Lew Ford bloop-hit just out of the reach of a drawn in infield.

Brantley is pissing me off.

He still thinks that Schilling should have won the Cy Young last year and not Santana.

Sure, its ok to have an opinion but everytime the fact that Santana won comes up, he says it should have been Schilling. Let it go, Santana won it, he deserved it.

vazquez has been good lately, hes the one to beat them

Lohse has been good as well. Pretty good pitching matchup. Hopefully the D'Backs can help us out.
