DonkeyKongerko
QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 8, 2005 -> 09:51 PM) Wow, if I have to explain that was a joke, then I'm not sure what level of intelligence I'm dealing with here. It is something though that Politte showed more creativity when he was batting than any of our batters have done in a long time. Why do you seem so surprised that someone laughed at your joke? Milkman delivers
Gee, I'm glad to see the D-Backs are trying to win tonight. 3 hits so far. And they had some scrub starting the game. Thanks, jerks.
RibbieRubarb
QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 8, 2005 -> 09:52 PM) why not let politte finish it? He is one of your top relievers... Save his arm for the series against San Diego. If you pitch him too much in a blow out, he won't be available tomorrow
Milkman delivers
QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 8, 2005 -> 10:52 PM) why not let politte finish it? So we can let the lesser pitchers get some work and maybe some confidence.

OilCan
From Yahoo.Com's Box Score Update: Game Notes CHICAGO'S AARON ROWAND EXTENDED HIS HITTING STREAK TO 13 GAMES WITH A DOUBLE IN THE TOP OF THE FIRST INNING. COLORADO'S MATT HOLIDAY LEFT THE GAME IN THE TOP OF THE FOURTH INNING WITH A SPRAINED RIGHT FINGER. CHICAGO PITCHER DAMASO MARTE LEFT THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SEVENTH INNING WITH A SORE LEFT BICEP. Uh-oh on K-Marte. Hope he gets better. OilCan
Sat 5/7 - WS 10, Tor 7 (source - Yahoo.Com WS Team Page) Yep! This plus the Toronto game (already reported by fathom) are the only two games the Pale Hose has scored 10 runs or more. Small ball indeed!!! Milkman delivers
They have El Duque listed at 4 ER today. I don't think all of those were earned, were they? Vizcaino threw a lot of pitches that inning. I think it's fairly obvious that he's never getting out of the mop-up role this year. I like the way our bullpen looks, as long as we get one more solid reliever. Get it done, Kenny.
