sayitaintso
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 8, 2005 -> 11:10 PM) World Series would be best. Yeah thats true, but we need to prove that we can make it to the playoffs first.
whitesoxin'
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 12:10 AM) World Series would be best. Better than $100,000.
SoxFan1
QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 01:12 AM) Better than $100,000. Well, now that my parents are seperated and we don't necessarily need the money, no. But, make it a million, and I'll gladly oblige!
kev211
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 12:13 AM) Well, now that my parents are seperated and we don't necessarily need the money, no. But, make it a million, and I'll gladly oblige! I would have to take a mill over a sox series, but i would definatly take a sox championship over 100grand. whitesoxin'
Speaking of taking a million dollars for something, this lady at our high schools graduation said she wouldn't trade being there for a million dollars. WTF lady, a million dollars is a little bit more valuable than your grandaughts high school diploma.

Antonio Osuna
This means very little. We have the best record in baseball and are only 4 games up, and that will probably be 3.5 games after today, assuming the Twins play. How unlucky is that? ChWRoCk2
QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 08:27 AM) This means very little. RibbieRubarb
QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 07:27 AM) This means very little. We have the best record in baseball and are only 4 games up, and that will probably be 3.5 games after today, assuming the Twins play. How unlucky is that? Not unlucky at all... The twins are a great team, pure and simple. Think about it from their point of view: "We are playing at full strength! We have the Cy Young winner and two of the top young hitters in the AL (Monreau & Mauer). We are playing at the TOP of OUR GAME!!....and we are STILL 4 games behind the White Sox who are now heating up in the hitting dept." THAT is unlucky!! Wedge
I predict the Twins lose and we sit at 4.5 after today.
BigSqwert
QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 09:21 AM) Not unlucky at all... The twins are a great team, pure and simple. We are playing at the TOP of OUR GAME!!....and we are STILL 4 games behind the White Sox who are now heating up in the hitting dept." THAT is unlucky!! Excellent point. As annoying as it is to see the Twins keeping pace, it must be much more annoying to Twins fans who are wondering "What the heck do we have to do to get in 1st place?!?! All we do is win games and we're still 4 games back!!"
Wedge
Think about it this way, if you take out the Series the Sox and Twins have played (Sox are up 4-1), then the Twins are only 1 game behind us.

Nokona
QUOTE(Wedge @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 08:41 AM) I predict the Twins lose and we sit at 4.5 after today. Settle down their high roller, you only have a 50% chance of that coming true! ;p
