I would like to see a reunion for the Sox players that are still alive from the 1959 team at the game. (Luis Aparicio , Billy Pierce ect) They should also wear throwbacks for that game.

The giants honored the team this weekend from the giants-indians series of 1954.

I believe they are planning on wearing throwbacks, but I haven't heard anything about a reunion.

There will be a reunion event at the Saturday game, which is the same one they are wearing the throwbacks for:

Ten players from the White Sox 1959 roster are scheduled to participate in a pregame, on-field ceremony on Saturday, June 18: Rudolfo "Rudy" Arias, Joe Hicks, Ron Jackson, Jim Landis, Jim McAnany, J.C. Martin, Billy Pierce, Claude Raymond, Jim Rivera and Bob Shaw. In addition, White Sox and Dodgers players will wear 1959 replica uniforms, and the centerfield video board will feature 1959 trivia and entertainment.

To enhance the experience for TV viewers, WGN will incorporate throwback graphics and in-game features on 1959 team members into the game broadcast. White Sox broadcasters Ken Harrelson and Darrin Jackson also will wear the 1959 replica White Sox jerseys.

Fans are invited to stay

for a postgame fireworks display
