JUGGERNAUT Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 I think it's too late in the season to be moving guys around in regular games. Extra inning games & games where health makes you play short-handed are exceptions. You don't plan for them. That being the case Ozuna, Harris, Widger, Gload are no-brainers. These guys all represent solid dependable and in some cases upgrades D at their positions (3B, 2B, C, 1B). Everett is a no-brainer for his bat, success vs the Twins, & vs LH (CLE) in general. Timo is the obvious guy to dump. As I see it the more Everett proves himself in LF the less Ozzie will play Timo. Especially with Dye heating up. As for playing Crede at 1B & benching Koney vs LH. Ozzie is a real meanie why doesn't he play WEE WILLIE <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seriously though Willie is more valuable to the team then Timo for two reasons IMO... 1) Can play both the Outfield and MIF at least averagely, Timo can only play a below average defensive OF. 2) Willie is our best pinch running option. If Willie could of pinch ran for Kong that run scores from first. Sadly Timo will be kept on the roster because he has pictures of somebody...
