southsider2k5
I was going to put CD, but that might disqualify some of our disco fanantics.... But looking back, what is the most embarassing CD, album, tape, 8 track etc, that you have ever owned? For me I think it would have to be Vanilla Ice- To the Extreme

FlaSoxxJim
The first two pieces of music I owned were Three Dog Night's Greatest Hits (on 8-track), and the 45's of Macho Man and YMCA by the Village People. A dubious start to my record collection I'd say.
Credepopsup
Vanilla Ice - To the extreme or MC Hammer - Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'em. Take your pick, they are both equally shameful.

Kyyle23
My CD collection started out much better than my tape collection My tape collection started with Europe and also included Paula Abdul and Peter Gabriel(not ashamed of Gabriel). My first cds were Metallica(black album and Master of Puppets), Depeche Mode, Inxs Kick, Red Hot Chili Peppers (What Hits?), U2(Zooropa), and Motley Crue (Dr Feelgood). The Cds made me forget about the tapes
mreye
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 09:15 AM) You win I'm sure I've got more. I want to get the Milli Vanilli CD. Vanilla Ice would be cool too. It's fun to play stuff like "Hangin' Tough" when we're all drinkin' and having a good time. It's a good laugh, and you'd be surprised how many people sing along and wave their arm from side to side like the New Kids. (Oh oh oh oh oh - Hangin Tough! We're ROUGH!) Oh yeah, I have the first Hanson CD too.

Music Box & Greatest Hits--Mariah Carey Sitting on Go--Bryan White Blue--Leann Rimes Greatest Hits--Buck Owens A cd of awful 70 covers by Elton John My Perorgative--Britney Spears I'm sure there's more

Oh yeah? Well I went to that concert at the World Amphitheater. Whatever that band was (Soul Train, Soul Sneeze?) that sang "Runaway Train" opened up for them, and the Screamin Trees kicked the whole thing off. Big waste of time. I still like that album, even if it ushered in the bad jam band era. Very tasty double stop guitar riffs throughout, and I thought the vocalist was quite good – like a non-threatening, ugly albino version of Chris Robinson.
