Quite a few beers and the giddiness over the approaching weekend will do that. :D

I love seeing Rowand bad third, but it is Frank's spot and I love having that OBP in the 3 hole. Especially since Konerko's on a roll.

We luck out again: Izturis is day-to-day with an injury and Hee-Seop "Hank Aaron" Choi is benched with MB on the mound.

This doesn't deserve its own thread but with a bit of Jason Schmidt trade talk round these parts lately, Schmidt looks like the Schmid tof old tonight against the Tigers. HIm boosting his trade value could affect us greatly if the BoSawx, Yanks, Angels, etc. go after him

Exactly what I want the Bosox and Yankees to acquire; another pitcher who hasn't been able to stay healthy the last 2 years.

Isin't that what we called Bears fans during the Ditka years?

Ironically, the nickname originated from the style of a RB back in the late 60's...

Papa bear halas was upset with the play of his players, and said that he would rather have a team full of Grabowski's (who was the GB RB at the time) instead of his current group.

Jim Grabowski would end his career with the bears in the early 70's.

Ugh, Tim Stauffer goes for the Padres against us and is unhittable, and follows it up with a start against the Twins where they tag him for 2 in the first inning.

What can you do. Those damn twins :bang

Arizona just gave up their second 10 running inning in the last 7 Innings of baseball.
