I said I liked seeing Vince Vaughn at the game yesterday because I respect him as an actor and I have heard him say good things about the Sox in the past. However I don't like the idea of being at the Sox game and seeing David Schwimmer on the video screen and having the crowd give them an ovation for being at the game. They can come to the game I just don't like the idea of the fans applauding them for being there. It has a cubesque feel to it.

O ok, i misunderstoood. Sorry about that.

MY fear is that when the playoff roll around...We'll have a Jim Belushi sighting!!

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! :puke :o :puke

He is the biggest celeb-sports-whore around. Any Chicago team in the playoffs can put money on the fact that Jim will stop by, wear that team's hat and show up in the booth to chat about his show and how he is Mr. Chicago...

Ugh

I really don't understand some Sox fans sometimes. They b**** that not enough people come to the park, then they b**** because certain types of people are at the park. They b**** that the people from neighborhood don't support the team, then they b**** about possible plans to change the make up of the neighborhood.

I think some Sox fans would rarther live forever in 2nd or 3rd place as long as the 'right' 15,000 people are in the seats.

:notworthy :notworthy

Seriously. Stop being picky. They're helping filling up the ballpark. They're okay. Only one fan I can't stand and that's Cub fans who come to the game wearing Cubs gear and the Cubs aren't even playing them. Even them, I'll let in the park though if they're paying. What's different between the White Sox showing other fans on the scoreboard and celebrities? I don't see why the White Sox should try their hardest to keep them off the scoreboard. I actually think it's pretty nice to see a celeb at the game as it is to see them anywhere else.

he's gonna get so much ass because of this. i'm talking like boy band ass here.

can you picture some of the white sox players using some of vince's greatest movie lines:

"Ozzie, I own three Speaker Cities. I'm worth 35 and a half million dollars the government knows about. You think I'm gonna lend my bats to some kids from Triple A? Just make sure you can see the field."

--Paul Konerko

"Who's the big winner? Who's the big winner? Buerhle's the big winner!!!!"

--Mark Buehrle

"I'm gonna make little Kerry's head bleed."

--Jose Contreras, on Kerry Wood

I don't think you have to worry about that. He was interviewed by some paper last year and basically bashed the Sox all while professing his undying love for the Cubs.

Besides if the Belushi isn't John, then it doesn't matter.

I think it rules, I don't give a s*** who goes to the games as lobg as they cheer for the white sox.

^^besides it could be worse than him being a cubs fan. being born in minny he could have been a twinks fan... :puke
