Got a real chance to pull away from the Twinkies over the next 4 games, with the Royals series coming up after this, while Minny take on Detroit which should be a good series in it's own right. The Indians are coming too though, but let's just keep doing what we've been doing. Let's hope JC's outing goes better than his last one too, hopefully with AJ catching tonight. :gosox3: :gosox2: :gosoxretro:

I'm remembering that Weaver was the guy who started the beanball battle between the Sox and the Tigers in 2000. He hit Carlos Lee, IIRC, and was in the middle of the battle royale that followed Parque's retaliation. So, for old time's sake, how can I put this?? Oh yeah, f*** JEFF WEAVER!

But Robert Fick is our best friend this weekend as he carves up Twinkie pitching at the Hump Dome!!!

ESPN Insider has an interesting feature where it rates and tells all of the pitches every MLB pitcher throws.

When I have time, I'll be posting these for the opposing teams so Sox fans can get a good grasp on what the opposing pitcher will be featuring.

Jose...work fast and throw Strikes. That's all you need to focus on. Your best games this year have been when you worked fast and threw strikes. People might score a run or two off you, but if you're not giving up the walks, people will not beat you.

Just trust A.J. and throw the ball to his glove.

The Twins lost. Now its time to gain more ground. We need a big game out of Jose tonite- He is due! Hopefully A.J. will catch Jose tonite and Widger catches El-duque tommorow nite. Lets sweep 'em, but most importantly lets win 4 in a row! I'm going to the game tonite- but i'm not going to bring my broom. Everytime I have done that over the years- we ended up losing. :gosox1: :gosox2: :gosox3: :gosox4:
