And why couldn't Dye bunt there?  Is he above that or considered too much of a "slugger"?

Konerko is at third*. It'd need to be a pretty perfect bunt to get him over...

I'm fine with the no bunt there. Just as often as you move the runner over, you get the guy at third thrown out. Dye just didn't get the job done.

EDIT: *And by third, I of course, mean second. :banghead

Not sure but I hate it.  Dye is a double play machine and he has been his whole career.  A's fans called him "Double Play" Dye.

Well, "Double Play" Dye has a 1.036 OPS in June. He has pretty much carried an otherwise anemic offense. Him and Carl.

Rooney and Farmer talking light about Pods going out, lol. I am a bit surprised that he hasn't hit one by accident yet.

Also the prostate cancer thing again. Which reminds me, I do love me a good tomato. A good heirloom tomato. Mmm, mmm, mmm.

That Pods ball was fair. It was clearly even bouncing down the line in fair territory. Rooney and Farmer pointed it out.

Geez Us...that's what I thought...and worthless-ass ESPN didn't even show a replay. How the hell can it go down the line past third in fair territory and be foul?
