Come on, Shingo has been as bad as Vizcaino all season.  Do you really want to see him in THIS game?  I'd rather see Cotts go 1 more inning.  He has only thrown 19 pitches.

On a scale one through ten and ten being the worse... how bad do you still hate cotts.

I know this might be an annoyance to some people, but I just got home -- can someone give me a slight recap on what's happened?  I'd appreciate it a whole lot.  If not, that's cool too.

Both teams scrapped a couple runs across. It's been a pitching duel :P

But seriously. BMac got lit up. Had no control, threw pretty much FB after FB, and eventually got rocked, along wtih 4 walks. Hitting has been awesome, especially Gooch and Dye.

McCarthy didnt have his control, couldn't get the changeup over and struggled. walked 4 or 5 in 4.2 IP, and then we had a Vizcaino sighting, which resulted in 2 HRs..our offense has been great against s***ty pitching, but our s***ty pitchers (read: Vizcaino) gave runs back/

And Cotts is mother f***ing MONEY.

Keith, Sox went up early 3-0 on Konerko HR. McCarthy was not sharp, had one bad break on a duck snort, he went 4 2/3. Sox added on a few, Frank went yard and the Sox played 1st and 3rd a lot.

Vizcaino gave up HR"s to the 8th and 9th place hitters. it was tied 8-8. Sox went ahead 11-8 with a bunch of hits, Pierzynski with a bloop that scored two. Ugly game, the ball is flying out of there and the game thread has been testy.

You are now caught up. :bang
