Kyyle23
QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jun 29, 2005 -> 11:28 AM) OK, Smart Guy... where does Godzooky fit into all of this?? Godzooky doesnt fit into this. Hard to believe that they made the offspring of the mighty godzilla blow smoke rings. And BTW, how was godzooky created? Was that ever explained? Kid Gleason
Ahem, boy am I wearing my geek hat today!!! Minya (the true "Son Of Godzilla") blews rings, though not made of smoke. I don't think Godzooky was ever actually called an off-spring of Godzilla. As a kid though, I loved that cartoon. Go figure. Hey, if any of you want to talk about this, I will be here: http://g-fan.com/g-fest_x.htm And welcome all people to join in on the fun. Heck, my wife and kids are actually joining me for this one!!! It only took me 11 years to convince my wife to go with me! LOL!!! Edited June 29, 2005 by Kid Gleason

JUGGERNAUT
Yes or no. Is Jackson's Kong big enough to play with a train like it was a toy in his living room? The answer is no. I'll refer to the 2 movies by their female co-stars since this is an ape love for human female franchise. Both Jessica's & Faye's Kongs were big enough to play with the train like it was a toy. Both of those Kongs could punt this Kong like a football. If you stretched him out he might not even be bigger than a train car itself! Since you are such a Kong lover rent Jessica's Kong (she is so F'g HOT in that movie) & see for yourself why SIZE REALLY MATTERS

I'll refer to the 2 movies by their female co-stars since this is an ape love for human female franchise. O.K., since we are going to play: Notice Ann standing in front of Kong? Notice Ann in Kong's hand? I'm seeing the Jackson Kong as slightly larger than the one designed by Willis O'Brien. Again, Jackson's Kong stands 24', the original shifted between 18' and 20' depending on the scene and the scale they were going for. And for the record, I am THAT much of a Kong fanatic, and it is no secret that I am that much of a giant monster freak. But now since you say it, maybe I will go downstairs and watch the '76 version, and probably watch the original '33 version tonight, after I watch House Of Flying Daggers. Thanks for the suggestion. Kid Gleason
A little off-scale, but a favorite picture of mine. This poster was on my walls when I was about 5 years old! And... The Time magazine cover from the time. You can see how Dwan fits in Kong's hand compared to Ann. A bit smaller, but not by much. So the Jackson Kong will be in the middle of O'Brien and Baker.
