LosMediasBlancas
QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Jun 27, 2005 -> 08:09 PM) Well this morning, at 8 am, my parnets woke me up and told me we were having a "family day" in Chicago which included going to the taste. Let's just say I wasn't too happy since today was my first day off of work in a long time and I was planning on hanging out with my girlfriend. At about noon I realized that it was White Sox day as I was flipping through the program. I only waited in line about 45 minutes, most of the time in the shade so it wasn't too bad. Willie seemed like an ass but Freddy was nice and so was B-Mac. What time did you actually get in line?

He was talkin on his phone the whole time and just signed a bunch of his picture things before people got there and just handed them to us as we walked by. Seemed really cocky. Try hitting the ball out of the infield sometime instead of grounding out to the 2nd baseman every friggin' AB. Willie gave me one of those pictures...I told him nice play yesterday...He said thanks man but ozuna's was better. And finally Bmac signed a baseball in the sweet spot...told him I've seen a couple of his posts on soxtalk.com and he said yeah the sites great... Bmac is cool as hell... It was a hot but pretty good day overall...

Punch and Judy Garland
I saw B-Mac sign for a young kid during his windsprints on Wednesday before the game. He could have pretended not to hear the kid in the bleachers but he went out of his way. Nice move, glad he's around
whitesoxin'
I told B-Mac that I had read a lot about him on Futuresox.com and he got a good laugh out of it. Now where's my prize Jason?

Steff
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 11:47 AM) BANISH HIM TO HELL Yes, please do. He can't give an hour of attention to people who took off work, or braved the hot weather to stand in line and get an autograph from a player of their favorite team.. who was PAID to appear... He's an ass.. always has been, always will be.
Punch and Judy Garland
Steff is right. Willie wasn't there for free. He was there because he was obligated to appear by his employers most likely, or he was paid by Taste organizers. Either way, don't feel too sorry for him. WHarris1
Would you rather wait in the heat to talk to BMac and Garcia? Or wait in line to talk to BMac and Garcia and get a signed picture from Willie?
whitesoxin'
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 11:57 AM) Would you rather wait in the heat to talk to BMac and Garcia? Or wait in line to talk to BMac and Garcia and get a signed picture from Willie? I'm not even keeping my Willie picture that he signed. I hate him. You can have it if you want. I was only there for Freddy and B-Mac.
