SoxFanForever
Just read that Milwood has a no hitter going through the eight. On the front page of ESPN under the mlb section.

Cali
Wow Karl Ravech, just said that last year on April 27th was when Derek Lowe pitched his No-No, strange...
Rex Kickass
a 1-0 nothing game is rare enough these days. But a no/no too? Wow.
Soxplosion
Theres a weirder game I remember (I got to watch this one on TV too). Yankees-Red Sox at Fenway. Mussina pitching. The game is tied 0-0 all the way to the top of the nith and Mussina has a no-no. The Yankees scored once and Mussina quickly got two outs. Then Carl Everett came up and with two strikes hit this ugly, flaring bloop single which only fell due to perfect location in left center. Mussina got the next guy but oh if he had got a perfect game it would have been historical. Historic park, historic rivalry, close game and of course the perfect game. But it didnt happen and not many people remember that game anymore...

But Mike just smiled and went on with the game.

A couple of my friends were getting really pissed off at me because we were supposed to go out and I wouldn't leave until the game was over. I wouldn't speak to my best friends girlfriend for two days after that because I blamed her for cursing Mussina.
mreye
I hate the term "no-no"
IlliniKrush
I hate the term "no-no" you say no-no because it's a jinx to say "no hitter"
mreye
It's not a jinx when they're talking about it in the past tense, like on Sports Center.
whitesox247
And Kevin Millwood has done something that Maddux and Glavine has NEVER done. The Braves basically gave Millwood to the Phillies for nothing. Is it true that it was on the same date as Lowe's no hitter last year? Wow that would be something
SoxFan1
1st of all, yes, it was on the exact same day as Derek Lowe's no-no last year, April 27! 2nd, think, we could have gotten Millwood for a pack of Ramen noodles and a Pepsi! That sucks!
