Dick Allen
Maybe Dusty gets his roster info from Jeff Brantley.

SoxFan1
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 07:46 PM) Maybe Dusty gets his roster info from Jeff Brantley. Freddy Guzman was light out today AND we didn't have to use Chad Hermanson.

SoxFan1
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 08:04 PM) Uhhh, no. I was thinking that too. I haven't seen anything from McCarthy that would lead me to beleive that.
Fotop
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 07:04 PM) Uhhh, no. Well McCarthy held his own the last time he faced Prior...but this time around I wouldn't be so sure. Either way, you can't take McCarthy's first start away from him. He pitched well at Wrigley. I haven't seen anything from McCarthy that would lead me to beleive that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's a reason McCarthy isn't pitching on Sunday and it isn't just cuz Garland will be pitching on normal rest. Milkman delivers
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 06:47 PM) Well, if Hermanson gets a save tomorrow let's see if Busty calls him "Chad" Hermanson. So, was he mixing Hermanson up with Chad Hutchinson when he said that? That's the only name that I can think of that would make some sense. Yeah, we don't want to give Garland an extra day off!

I certainly remember, I was there. But still, he had success against the Cubs even if the elements played a role. Do I want him to start on sunday? No, Garland is def. the choice, I'm just trying to say that McCarthy has looked good against the Cubs before.

He would probably give up 6 homers. I'd rather have the groundball pitcher going in those kind of longball conditions. That funky motion
I would be sweeter to get the win with him pitching.

I was just trying to point out that McCarthy has pitched well...that's pretty much it.
Yoda
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 07:04 PM) Uhhh, no. WTF? I didn't even mean it that way. I was referring to McCarthy's start back in Wrigley Field. He was dealing back then.

Whitewashed in '05
QUOTE(Stocking @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 05:44 PM) hear dusty say takatsu got on base a bunch today?!?! Hopefully next time everyone clobbers their pitchers so he can remember who f***ed him up. Another 10 run inning would probably sew everyones names into his head correctly.
