Whitewashed in '05
Hey I know its still a lot of baseball to be played but if we keep this up this divison is a lock for us. I mean right now were hitting homers were stealing bases. Everything is clicking, we just need the pitchers to keep us in the game and we'll give them a chance to win. Also our defense has been great.

Benchwarmerjim
what a joke of a game twice the Twins had bases loaded (one time with 0 outs) and they scored 0 runs
Jabroni
what a joke of a game twice the Twins had bases loaded (one time with 0 outs) and they scored 0 runs <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I said this before. The Twins' offense have disappeared. They need to trade for Joe Randa and move Cruddyer to 2nd base. That still won't be enough to take the division though. DukeNukeEm
I've always kind of liked the Brew-Crew and Cardinals. Cardinals because I spent some time living in Stl., but I just like the Brew-Crew.

They know exactly how to win and how not to, they arent pushing too much because they've been behind the Sox before, just not by this many games. Theyll make a run, theyre the Twins, they always do. nitetrain8601
Only if we won today. Anyway, I hope they get swept and we win tommorow. We have to win these games now and sweep the Tigers since we have to play in Oakland next weekend.
WHarris1
WOW This is just ridiculous. We lose and the Twinks have a 3-0 lead with Cy Young on the hill...what happens? We don't lose a game in the standings. Edited June 26, 2005 by WHarris1

fathom
I remember thinking last year after about 2 months that Santana wasn't as good as people thought he was going to be. However, as his arm strength improved during the course of the season, he was amazing. We all know that the Twins are likely going to be our main competition this entire season for the division, and they have enough talent to be a legit contender for the AL Central.
