Jabroni
Wow, Ozzie's pulling Buehrle after a 1-1 count on Inge. Not too often you see a manager leave a pitcher in for his pickoff move. Pretty smart idea, if you ask me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, the pickoff and second out is the reason he pulled Buehrle. Not the count. Buehrle is good at inducing DP's and that's why he was still in there with Logan at 1st base.
Guest JimH
I'm not given to great criticism or great praise for a manager, but no matter what Politte does, that was an excellent maneuver by Guillen. I'm sure the intent was to keep Logan from running, a pickoff was a bonus. Edited June 29, 2005 by JimH
SoxFan1
Politte gets him to pop put. Thomas, Konerko, and Rowand up!
Guest JimH
Credit to Konerko on that pickoff play, his foot was positioned perfectly to prevent Logan from getting back to the bag. His leadoff was not huge. OK, out of this inning. Happy Politte.

He would be the NO-Doubt Al starter in the ASG. Bad lukc in like 4 of his starts prevented that. And he STILL might start.
