mreye
Funny story about water bans: I overheard a guy on the elevator this morning saying he was under a 100% ban, but he thought he'd throw it on for just a few minutes last night. He fell asleep and it was on all night.
Steff
QUOTE(farmteam @ Jun 27, 2005 -> 03:32 PM) Nice looking house, Mike! But what the heck is "forced air"? I think it means there is a motor to push the hot or cold air through the vents of the house.

He fell asleep and it was on all night. LMAO.. Poor guy. I think if they totally ban us they will use our water bills to tell if we are watering... Think they'll buy "but I was just filling up the pool..." as an excuse??
farmteam
This is why they should call it a furnace, to not confuse us idiots. Apparently I've been left outside too long, eh?

Queen Prawn
It was strange hearing crunch crunch crunch as I walked across the lawn last week. It rained for about 2 or 3 minutes yesterday and that was it - damn teaser!

kapkomet
You all are lucky. Last rain we got was May 15th, that was an inch at night. The time before that, it was April 10th. So... translation, an inch of rain since April 10th. It's f***ing DRY, and my grass is starting to really burn up. Even when I water it, it's not doing too well.
