Torii Hunter tries reverse psycology...

White flag for the other guys: Torii Hunter took a break from his hot streak—which has involved both hitting and robbing homers—to concede the division to the White Sox last Friday. The story said Twins manager Ron Gardenhire flipped from the Cubs-Sox game Saturday to the movie "Forces of Nature." When Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock are less painful than watching your division leaders, that's saying something.

Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski, however, told the Daily Southtown's Phil Arvia not to believe a word of it, and I concur. The minute the White Sox accept Hunter's surrender, he'll stick a knife in their back by plowing over Pierzynski or Chris Widger unnecessarily.

No s*** don't believe a word of it...

Torii Hunter has said twice already this year that the Sox have won the division and the Twins should focus on the Wild Card. Botht times the Sox went on win streaks.

The second time he said it the Sox gained 6 games on the Twins in the standings.

The Sox are not going to get comfortable at the top as long as Ozzie is running the team.

If the sox are retarded enough to slow down and lose the division just because Torii Hunter says man they're good.... then they dont deserve to win it anyway.

im sure mark buehrle is sitting in his hotel room right now thinking "hey... who cares if i lose my start tonight... torii hunter said we won the division already" please.

f*** Torii Hunter in the ass

i know the twins are the big rival team and tori hunter is like there figure head, but he dosent really bother me. He really isnt that good, a great fielder for sure, but a so so hitter. Now if they had like a Barry Bonds type player, it might be more fun.

I'm a f***ing idiot. Appearantly I can't read.

:lolhitting :P

I thought Urbina was on the Indians last year too at the beginning of the year, so ya, it happens to all of us.

Steff, I think it would be alright. Unless you wanna dish out a hundred or 2 to get a CLee Brewers jersey.

I'd go with the Jenkins jersey. Even though it is a C.Lee jersey it's still the Sox and I always hate it when I see Cubs fans wearing Cubs jersey's at Sox games.

True.. I wouldn't even consider it but it's casual week at work and I can wear it to work then to the game. Usually when I go there with work I'm wearing work clothes.
