fathom
ENOUGH OF THOMAS IN THE 3RD HOLE! He's turned into one of the most selfish hitters I've ever seen in baseball.
Milkman delivers
You know what? f*** Frank Thomas. Sit his ass for a week. He's worthless right now unless we need a meaningless homerun.
Kogs35
why is he trying for the 3 run homer?

GreatScott82
we had Rowand off the bench- we should have used him. Esspecially since Frank is in a major freaking drought! Frank has never been clutch- Rowand has.
fathom
Frank's success right out of the gates made him think that he could just rely on hitting homers, and he's be able to do it at a great rate. However, his swing is so f***ed up right now. His entire backside is collapsing, and his swing is as bad as I've ever seen it. I would have rather had OMIT up that AB than Frank. He's turned into one of the most selfish hitters I've ever seen in baseball. A pitch right down broadway, and he's selfish? Hmm... Should I trust the guy who has gotten on-base at a .400+ clip for most of his career, or a message board lurker? GMAFB. I can live with your first statement, but quit the bulls***. Selfish my ass. WHarris1
Viz to face the heart of their order? f*** it, we don't deserve to win it and Viz will make it reality.
elrockinMT
He has sucked for awhile, but all hitters go into slumps and this is Frank's time it appears. A game or two down the road and he may be our hottest hitter. Edited June 30, 2005 by elrockinMT

fathom
We're still playing for that 3 run homer it seems like. We have no balance in our lineup right now with all our speed at the top, and it creates a situation where it's either homer or nothing for far too many hitters. Well, i Don't know if it's selfishness, but it's quite obvious that all Frank cares about at this point in his career are HRs. Ozzie Montana
Give him to the yankees. We are trying to win here not get him his 500 career homeruns. Damn Frank :finger cant you shorten up that huge @$$ swing and get a basehit. Logans play is the key to the game definately.

Right now, he's not the same hitter he used to be in terms of his approach. Yes, I consider Frank extremely selfish now. He's had 3 opportunities with a RISP this game, and he's been swinging out of his ass for the fences every time.
Balta1701
Because we're running out of relief pitchers, and if he can go 2 innings he'll have to do so.

GreatScott82
Carl is a much better contact hitter- Frank is doing nothing but swinging for the fences. We don't need that selfish play on this team.
