Mathew
There 8-9 guys are a hell of a lot better than ours.

Mid 8th 3-2 A's That f***ing kid is yelling what could be construded as pretty racist s***, calling Tejada "Tortilla" someone needs to smack that little bastard

Molto
great D by A's, not much else they could've done.
whitesox247
Jose V, Mr. Clutch, Mr. All-Star, leads it off with a double. Only to see Big Hurt first-pitch swinging and lining out to the LEFT side. What the hell, you f***ing advance the runner any f***ing way you can, and if you ground out, you ground out to the RIGHT side. Leadoff double, does not score, and yes Valentin has every right to b**** about these selfish plays. What can I say, I'm just f***ing speechless. Molto
although your point makes sense, when a guy like Thomas reads a pitch like that and can make good hard contact, you can't really complain about it. he hit it hard, not much else you can say. 9 times out of 10 that is down the line. Cali
Top 9th 3-2 A's Kelly Wunsch pitching. Durazo - Grounds out to First. Hernandez - HBP Long - Grounds out to first, Hernandez to second Byrnes - Intentional Walk Singleton - Grounds out to second. Mid 9th 3-2 Bad Guys. Oh for a Foulke meltdown right here, and I swear to god if Rios or Daubach don't bat for Rowand in the ninth, Jerry should be fired right on the spot. He's supposed to be driving it to right field. That should be his whole mentality. He's supposed to be doing anything he can just to advance the runner. I mean, we're down by only 1 run here, get someone up there that can bunt for Gods sake. We should have a tied ballgame here, and it would take a true miracle to come back. Molto
the game wouldn't be tied for sure. although Ordonez' grounder was slow, it was still towards third base and somewhat close to home. Bradford could've still gotten Valentin out at home. I got what your saying, he should be thinking right, but it was an inside pitch that was hittable. he either pulls it or takes it. Molto
pretty bad at bat. Konerko jammed himself on three pitches. like he was diving in.

Cali
Bot 9th 3-2 A's Keith Foulke pitching. Konerko - Pops out to second. Crede - K's looking Daubach pinch hits Daubach - Fouls out to third. GAME OVER 3-2 s***! That was a heck of a pitchers duel.
whitesox247
And the bridge falls down. WHAT IN HELL CAN WE DO FOR THIS TEAM TO MANUFACTURE RUNS!
Molto
offense has been pretty damn bad, but as far as today. Zito, Bradford and Foulke.....pretty hard to hit. we had some hard hit balls that were cought, while the bottom of the order killed Colon. of all the games we lost this year, this one was the most accepting. not much you can do. need to win tomorrow though, Buehrle needs to step up big time. SoxFanForever
Nice to see Foulke succeeding at the role Jerry Manuel said he couldn't do.
