Guest JimH
Dammit, all 4 balls that at bat were on the forkball, got 2 nice strikes with the fastball and then never went back to it. I hope that walk doesn't hurt us... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They know he'll throw that damn forkball every time he gets two strikes. He has got to work that fastball. DBAHO
I see Harden's thrown 49 pitches already. That's a very good stat after 2.

Milkman delivers
Contreras walks the bases loaded. I wish he would work fast like he did earlier in the year, but I swear to God the guy has no brain.

Chisoxfn
Its weird....Jose looked so smooth in the 1st inning, now this. Still, I think we'll all be loving Jose later on this year. For some reason I see him getting things together and just having an insane stretch (potentially during the playoffs). He's made a lot of strides this year and at times he reverts, but in general I think he's taken a few steps forward and is much closer to reaching his potential (which is great). Come on Contreras, get Scutaro.
Guest JimH
Pitcher and catcher are not in a good sync here. Ok, he throws a strike to Scutaro, this is another guy who kills the Sox.

Chisoxfn
QUOTE(JimH @ Jul 1, 2005 -> 06:47 PM) Now he's 0-2. What do you do here? Gas him upstairs. Changeup in the dirt or a splitter in the dirt. I got faith in AJ blocking it.

Chisoxfn
Looked like he was gripping for the change or splitter and that really got away from him. Sox lucked out too.

SoxFanForever
Jose shouldn't be allowed to nod off pitches from AJ. He isn't good enough to know how to attack these guys half the time.
