ZoomSlowik
Harden seems to be throwing nothing but fastballs. It's a good one, but man, vary it up.

Balta1701
See, now this is small ball, stolen base, productive out, error scoring a run, guy takes off in a hit & run & scores on a double. I missed this kind of ball!
Balta1701
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 1, 2005 -> 07:19 PM) Ozzie didn't do much on that play.. Just raggin on ya. Rowand was running with the pitch...that's why he scored. On a 2-2 count, the manager called it.

WHarris1
Meh, Harden just aced Dye but great job getting 2. Hell - 34 pitches that's f***ing fantastic.
CWSGuy406
The Oakland fans seemingly hate Dye. I don't know why... I realize he wasn't great, but was he known as a guy who 'dogged' it or something? Great first inning.
Rowand44
Alright, dye goes down. Great inning there, anyone know how many pitches Harden threw that inning??? It was obviously quite a few.

I realize he wasn't great, but was he known as a guy who 'dogged' it or something? Great first inning. I think it's a matter of them having paid him a lot of money and them feeling they didn't get their money's worth. Oakland doesn't pick up many guys making $10 mil plus per year...they got him expecting him to put up numbers like he did his last year in KC (OPS like 1000), and he never really came close. Rowand44
Twins are threatening, 1st and 2nd no out. Anywho, Jose do what you've done all season minus the 2 starts out of year last 3. Go get 'em Contreras.

Guest JimH
This game will hinge on Contreras, I know that is stating the obvious but a quality outing for him here, that would be huge. Give the pen another day off hopefully.
