If Maggs was ready to play 1 day after his former team left town... what kept him from playing in that finale on Thursday... wow what a pussbag.

Actually he wasn't suppose to play for a few more days, but he moved up his start. Good point.

The guy started his rehab assignment on Monday. He didn't even play the OF until Thursday. He wasn't supposed to play until next week. I highly doubt he is so afraid to play the White Sox he delayed his return to face Randy Johnson.

ur talkin about 1 day.... in 1 day he decided he was ready to play? I dont buy it. He skipped out on playing the Whitesox cause he was worried about not being ontop of his game. Thats the bottom line.

He was DHing until Thursday, the last day the White Sox were in town. He played the outfield then drove to Detroit and told Trammell he was fine, and he was placed in the line-up. He's coming off hernia surgery, back a lot sooner than most of this board said he would. According to most here, he will never be at the top of his game. Your theory is silly. He played 3 or 4 games in his rehab. If you start your rehab on Monday and are supposed to be ready to play MLB by Thursday, what took Frank so long? Why isn't Gload with the Sox?

Why didn't he play Wednesday, that's only one day less. Then if he played Wednesday, why didn't he play Tuesday? That's only one day less.

Of course he wouldn't be on top of his game. He hasn't played much in the past year.
