Lately, almost every game in which we've played a lefty, he has been on the bench.

Lately we've also been trying to get Everett more playing time, given that Thomas is back.

Your leadoff guy should be close to your team lead in plate appearances, because the 1st guy should come up the most.

Pods leading the team in AB's could be a function of him not walking as much also.

And don't forget that pods sat out a week or so earlier in the year with a tweaked hamstring.

What is interesting is that he is hitting lefties at a .315 clip.

-Pods didn't look particularly good at the plate last night.

-It's a night game followed by a day game.

-It's against one of the best lefties in the AL.

-Everett needs time, too, he's been pretty good at the plate when he's been in.

There's plenty of good reasons why Pods is on the bench today.

The Oakland announcers are looking at the White Sox Media Guide...there's a good 16 pages in there on the big hurt, including every single one of his home runs.

He hit #75 and #300 in this ballpark. He's hit a total of 16 here...that's the most of any ballpark in the AL other than the Cell for Frank. At least 1 guy must like it here.
