qwerty
Would have been even more ridiculous if he didn't have that awful outing against the a's. Hopefully he can bounce back against them later this week.
RockRaines
He is the most untouchable player in our system for the next several years. He better stay with the sox until he is in a walker.

bjm676
Hafner, Buehrle named American League Player, Pitcher of the Month Cleveland Indians designated-hitter Travis Hafner and Chicago White Sox left-hander Mark Buehrle have been named the American League Player and Pitcher of the Month, respectively, for June. Hafner reached base safely in all but three games during the month of June while raising his batting average 21 points. In 24 games, Hafner batted .345 (30-87) with eight home runs and an A.L.-best 29 RBI. He finished second in slugging percentage at .736; sixth with a .430 OBP; seventh with 22 runs scored; and tied for third with 10 doubles. The Indians' DH went deep in back-to-back games twice, on June 5th and June 8th and June 27th and 28th respectively. On the 28th, Hafner went 3-5 with a home run and matched his career-high with six RBI to help beat Boston 12-7. Hafner collected more home runs and more RBI in the month of June than he did in the months of April and May combined, to help the Indians compile a 17-10 record for June. He currently ranks fourth in batting (.314); on-base percentage (.416); and slugging-percentage (.583). This is the first career Player of the Month Award for Hafner. Buehrle, who on Sunday was selected for his second career A.L. All-Star team, surrendered just four earned runs over 37.2 IP in five games for the first-place Chicago White Sox. The left-hander went 3-0 with a 0.96 ERA collecting 31 strikeouts and allowing only one home run and two walks in the month. On June 17th against Los Angeles (N.L.) Buehrle fired his sixth career shutout in a 6-0 over the Dodgers. Buehrle did not allow a run in three consecutive starts from June 11th to June 22nd (24.2 IP). Buehrle is the second White Sox pitcher to be honored as the Pitcher of the Month this season joining Jon Garland who won the award for April. This is the second career A.L. Pitcher of the Month Award for Buehrle, who previously won the award in May 2004. Any questions on who should start Tuesday, should now be answered.
