ChWRoCk2
QUOTE(wsox08 @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 01:34 AM) stay with Milwaukee and get more money, Lebron and the Cavs aren't going anywhere anyway, so the more money seems better to me.. your kidding right, lebron and redd would tear every team up, and add in a decent center and you have an nba finals type of team

greasywheels121
He'll be in Milwaukee through 2011. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2102454 Agent: Redd wants to end career with Bucks Associated Press Coveted free agent Michael Redd agreed Thursday to re-sign with the Milwaukee Bucks, choosing to stay with the only NBA team he's played for over LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. "He's going to get a max deal in Milwaukee for $90 to $96 million, depending on what the cap is, over six years," Redd's agent, Kevin Poston, told The Associated Press early Thursday afternoon. "Michael started his career in Milwaukee and hopes to end it there, too. "It was a tough decision between the Bucks and the Cavaliers, but Michael's heart is in Milwaukee and he's excited about his future there," Poston added. Redd, who was the top remaining free agent available, met with James and Cavs officials in Cleveland on Wednesday, one day after meeting with the Bucks. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard averaged a career-high 23 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists last season. He has averaged 17.7 points while making 39.4 percent of his 3-point shots since Milwaukee drafted him in second round, with the 43rd overall pick, in the 2000 NBA draft. Poston said Redd, who turns 26 in August, is excited about playing with former Utah center Andrew Bogut, the No. 1 pick overall in last month's draft, and for the Bucks' next coach. "Michael had Andrew have spoken at great length and are really looking forward to starting something special in Milwaukee," said Poston, an agent based in suburban Detroit. "We also know who the Bucks are focused in on to be their next coach, and Michael is very comfortable with him." The Bucks signed Bogut to a multiyear contract last week and have been searching for a new coach since firing Terry Porter last month. ESPN.com's Andy Katz reported Thursday that the Bucks are expected to hire Warriors assistant Terry Stotts.
southsider2k5
Well Lebron is now 0-2.
Chisoxfn
I voted play with Lebron, but at the same time if the offer was on the table, 20 mill is a big difference in cash (no matter how much he already has) and I must admit I'd probably stay in Mil (plus its not to bad of a city). Balta1701
Personally I still think this is more a matter of Cleveland looking like an organizational disaster right now. You don't change ownership, GM, coach, and collapse out of the playoff race in the middle of the season if you want to make other people think you're headed in the right direction. The Cavs might still have a shot at Hughes, but I don't think anyone other than Washington has really shown interest in him...seems most everyone's pretty sure he'll end up in Washington. I think my point holds pretty well...if Redd had taken this deal...and they had failed to turn around that front office in Cleveland...it would have been the Redd and Lebron show, mainly the Lebron show, for 2 years. After that, Lebron's a free agent, and if you're a player of his caliber and you sit there and think your team is going absolutely no where because your front office has its heads up its collective asses, why in the world would you stay? I think Redd probably is saying the odds of Lebron leaving are too high for him to consider Cleveland.

DBAHO
The Postons were his agents, of course he was going to take the extra $20 million, how stupid of me to think otherwise.
