Anyone else see this as an audition for a trade?  Just a thought.

It could be but it's just so hard to give up an arm like that. We'll see, you could be right but I'd venture to guess that he'll be in the White Sox organization for a while.

OK, he's faced 4 batters.  Take it easy.

People aren't excited about him because he had 1 nice inning, it's the fact he has a tremendous arm, one of the best you'll find in all of baseball.

It is very possible this could be an auditon for a trade, very possible, but I dont think that will be the case.

However, he could almost be a centerpiece to a big time trade.

If I were another team, I'd have to say of all the guys in the system, I'd demand Jenks, Young and than McCarthy.

I'd also take Tracey over Gio and Anderson over Sweeney. In fact Anderson could basically get pushed up into the A list, although I'd take Young over Anderson (if I were the opposing GM).

Thats just my perspective on what I'd be doing if I were another team.

i was just thinking how funny it would be to have back to back innings...the first with shingo and the second with jenks...try to catch up with that fast ball after seeing a 67 mph frizbee

didn't we see that tonight?

That's what we did today.

When I saw him walk out, I thought 1 man to a pair of pants out there, then I saw him throw 99 and was amazed, he threw the 80 MPH change, and the 85 curve, but all of his other pitches were 95+, making me think he dosen't have a lot of confidence in his off-speed stuff. :headbang

Probably because he has no offspeed stuff. He's a flamethrower.

1.) 97+ Fastball with movement

2.) 12-6 hard 85 MPH Curve - out pitch

3.) Hard sinker that he learned this year and bearly pitches

Curveball=offspeed pitch.
