Dick Allen
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 07:35 PM) Why is Walker on a major league roster??? Boggles my mind. He's enjoying his final days in the major leagues. Unless there is another blowout tomorrow, we may be witnessing Mr. Walker's swan song in MLB. JDsDirtySox
ON A SIDE NOTE FOR THE KC/ TWINS GAME: This is the Sonice Slam Sixth Inning... If a KC Player hits a Grand Slam This Inning... A lucky guy wins $25, 000 dollars... KC has now loaded the bases five times this inning. Come On Royals... Stop teasing this guy and hit the Big One! fathom
QUOTE(3E8 @ Jul 10, 2005 -> 01:39 AM) To think we could still go to the break with our largest lead of the year. Unbelievable. There's a long way to go in this Twins game. The KC bullpen sucks, and the Twins always seem to comeback against the lesser teams (like we have this season). BigSqwert
As s***ty as we play against Oakland look at the Twins. They are having some major problems against the Royals. They're about to lose 2 of 3 to that AAA team.

KC's bullpen has been known to implode.

fathom
Two positives to come out of tonight's game, from my standpoint: - Walker giving up the long ball. Might eliminate any of the optimism that the staff had for him after last night. He should not be in the majors. - Jenks struggling. The expectations for him were ridiculous after the first game, so now if the Sox do end up trading him, maybe people won't jump off a cliff (that sheep story is hillarious).
