Balta1701
Man Juggernaut...I don't think I agree with you on anything. THE BIGGEST GAME OF THE 1ST HALF??? I don't really buy that one at all. Not after we've played big games against the Twins, the Angels, the Orioles...I can point to a bundle of them. The game against the Tigers after the Oakland trip where we were all beat up and El Duque came in and shut down the Tigers starting a big winning streak, the road trip to Minnesota, the destroying of Wickman in the 2nd game of the year, the comeback against the Dodgers, the comeback against the Padres, you name it. A 3 game losing streak into the break is not the end of the world. It's something I don't want to see, but it's not the end of the world.

LosMediasBlancas
It's 5 minutes before game time, there are maybe 2,000 people at the park. What is it about Sundays that people can't get to the park on time?

fathom
When is Ozzie going to f***ing learn that Ozuna can't play 3rd base? Put his ass at SS, and move Uribe to 3B. It's inexcusable to put him at 3b for another game. And just like that, Garcia gives up his customary first inning run.

fathom
Well, we avoided the potential big inning. I'm shocked that a former infielder like Ozzie hasn't realized yet how much Ozuna sucks at 3rd base.

Fathom, how many times have you watched Freddy pitch this year??? He always has problems in the first inning, always. He usually gets out of it with 1 or 2 runs allowed then he becomes almost impossible to hit, hopefully it'll be the same today.

Exactly, and Garcia has avoided giving up that one big hit early in the game which would have basically put the Sox in a huge hole. He's playing with fire starting the game without focus, and there's going to be some games where the Sox are down 4 or 5 after the first inning.
