FlaSoxxJim
What about Jagged Edge? Back before the thriller twist ending was so in vogue, that ending took a lot of people by surprise.

southsider2k5
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jul 11, 2005 -> 06:17 PM) The story and ending in Saw was absolutely awesome, the acting was some of the worse ive seen since the last Keanu Reeves movie ive seen. The ending was horrible, and the acting was worse. I kept having people tell me how great the ending was and how you would never guess it. Well of course you couldn't figure it out because it didn't make any sense. I HATED that movie more than I have hated a movie in a long time. Controlled Chaos
I remember an old one with Anabella Sciorra probably early 90's that had an ending that totally through me for a loop. I think it was called Whispers are dark or Whispers in dark...soemthing like that... Trippy ending...For those that liek to try and figure movies out....watch it and see if you can. Milkman delivers
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jul 12, 2005 -> 10:05 AM) The ending was horrible, and the acting was worse. I kept having people tell me how great the ending was and how you would never guess it. Well of course you couldn't figure it out because it didn't make any sense. I HATED that movie more than I have hated a movie in a long time. Thank you! It wasn't a twist ending because you had absolutely no way of figuring out who the killer was. I swear to God, it's just like Scream 2 where *Spoiler, I guess if you haven't seen this in the 10 years it's been out* the f'n sister from Roseanne is the killer after she was in the movie for no more than 1 minute. That's not a twist, that's s***ty writing. Why didn't they just make the killer be Freddy Krueger instead? He wasn't in the movie either. Stocking
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jul 11, 2005 -> 03:35 PM) That movie was just wack, the first time I saw it at the end im like what just happened. You must have never read the book.
Kyyle23
I thought 1-8-7 with Samuel Jackson had a pretty shocking ending. Powder also threw me for a loop, it was just an odd ending.
LosMediasBlancas
I didn't hate the ending to Saw, but the acting was so bad, it was almost comedic and it became too distracting for me to give any props to the story itself.
Soxy
Foreign film endings usually throw me for a loop because they're much less concerned about happy endings, in general. The most recent one I can think of is 8 Women a french film. Momento also got me.
LosMediasBlancas
This is gonna sounds weird, but Friday Night Lights. It's based on a true story, but I didn't know the story. I thought it was gonna be your typical BS sports movie.

Kyyle23
Isnt a remake of "The Wicker Man" in production right now? I kept reading blips and blurbs about it on www.darkhorizons.com but I never really found out if it was made or not. I know Josh Hartnett was connected to it for a while
Kid Gleason
Yeah, I do believe that it is. I can't imagine how that can be topped. Killer flick. Brutal and disturbing as all hell.
