KMFDM, Thrill Kill Kult, Rev Co... I have grown away from that stuff nowadays, but I am still a huge NIN fan. I will still throw the Wax Trax stuff in every now and then for a glimpse into my high school angry days. What do you think of the recent NIN music(Fragile and With Teeth)? I really enjoy Trent's new stuff. There is a maturity there, that wasn't there before. It's less about him and more about the music as whole. Very organic. I never understood why they didnt do as well as they could have. Yes. I think they sounded too much like other bands coming out at that time, to the masses. The lead singer(only member) was part of Trent Reznor's first band, Lucky Pierre. They were part of one the best concerts I ever attended. Prick Nine Inch Nails David Bowie At the World Music Center It was Incredible!

Great Show except for Bowie cutting itshort due to illness. I was just gonna ask if you heard Prick's 2001 album, The Wreckard. I didnt even know there was another album until I did some research lately. It is STRANGE. Some really good stuff, some stuff way out there. I have a few Lucky Pierre songs on my Ipod as well. I didnt know Reznor was a part of that band, I only thought he appreciated it and brought Kevin McMahon into Nothing records because of his appreciation. LowerCaseRepublican
I've been rocking a personal mix of Warren Zevon songs...the one that gets the most play has to be "Hit Somebody (The Hockey Song)". Its not only a brilliant song but gotta love the Dave Letterman cameo in it.

hammerhead johnson
Right now, I can't get enough of this Bob Dylan bootleg: Dimestore Medicine 2CD It's a mixture of live tracks, outtakes, and acoustic sessions from 1965. This stuff is terrific. Bob's harmonica is supreme.

I have been reading nothing but good things about Hot Hot Heat's Elevator, but I am pretty unfamiliar with them. I thought I remembered a swing band with the same name. Is that them? I thought I remembered a swing band with the same name. Is that them? No, Hot Hot Heat is kinda a garage-band kinda sound, one of their tracks is on the new MVP, "You Owe Me an IOU." I don't like that song much but the other tracks have some catchy beats and average lyrics. It's a fun CD.
