The radar gun is off by two miles at least... garland can hit 94 and he was at 90-91 all day... and that was his fast fastball today.

Thanks, I was wondering if maybe the gun was just calibrated too slow.

Yes it is, Garland was at 91-92 all day, and occasionally 94. Cotts was hitting 93 that inning, according to the Indians broadcast.

In that KC/DET Brawl, warnings were issued in the 2nd inning after Tehan HRd and Maroth hit the next hitter...later in the game, Hernandez (KC) beaned Guillen in the head and then was walking towards him talking s***... pushing and shoving of course ensued and Farns cme out of the pen and put a tackle on Affeldt I think (not sure).

Though both benches and bullpens had cleared, order had seemingly been restored until a handful players who weren't even in the game sent the situation into chaos. Tigers closer Kyle Farnsworth used his 6-foot-4, 240-pound frame to pick up Royals reliever Jeremy Affeldt and tackle him to the ground. At about the same time, Detroit ace Jeremy Bonderman began trading punches in the middle of a pack of players, which quickly turned into a dogpile along the first-base line that took several minutes to clear

I hope Ordoñez was in the brawl and I hope he gets suspended for the week.

Cant avoid us this time Maggs.

Probably the biggest batter of the game here. This is the Indians best chance to give themself a chance to win this game, by keeping this inning going. Marte should be getting warmed up to face Gerut.

If Politte is on his game the guy can take anyone out. Lefty or righty doesn't mater. He has been great this year. Is Cliff walking batters because he is flat missing or getting piched by the ump?

He was just a bit off, and didn't seem comfortable on the mound. Blake worked him tough for the first walk/hbp.

We can never complain again about hitting too many pop-ups in a game.

This is what has made the Polecat so good this year. Last year it seemed he would struggle when things got a little rough for him, but this year he just bears down and does it!
