Y2HH
Rowand needs to go back to the drawing board with this new one handed 1983 half swing...I don't know when he started that, but it has to go. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 04:03 PM) Rowand's got to start hitting with some authority. He is usually pretty good in the second half, even before last season's breakout. GreatScott82
QUOTE(Tadahito15 @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 10:02 PM) These last 2 games have been brutal with this offense. 7 hits???? Come on. We really need to pick it up against Boston this upcoming series or things could get real ugly. I'm not too worried about the hitting- these last 2 games the pitching has been bad. I'm starting to get worried that are pitching is getting burned out?

Steff
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 05:01 PM) Sure Timo is here because he has earned it over anyone. The rest of your analysis is very very far off. Funny.. I didn't even make a point about a specific player. Maybe it's not just that you sound racist afterall... Dick Allen
Uribe is not a good matchup against Farnsworth. Hopefully, he can walk.
Flash Tizzle
QUOTE(qwerty @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 04:01 PM) Politte left with the bases loaded... all his runners. Yes, Politte does deserve majority of the blame. However, Cotts layed a meatball for Young to kill which opened this game wide up. I blame Ozzie the most for even relieving Politte, our best reliever, in that situation.

Seems like they have all gotten cold at the same time.

SoxFan562004
This will be 5 losses out of the last 6 games at home, and I think all have been 30k+ attendance. The at bats yesterday and today looked bad, and I can't accept the "good pitching effort" argument because what the hell are we going to face in the playoffs? If Robertson/German/Farnsworth shut us down what would Colon/K-Rod do? I think KW needs to get another bat soon

Y2HH
? This team has a hard time scoring 5 runs in 9 innings, and you want us to have faith that they can score more than that in ONE inning?!
