sec159row2
SO I get off work early not early enough for the 10:30 train home, but I'm able to run to catch the 11:30... get home at 12:20 and start to get ready to take my son to the game (17 months old).. we have a child carrying backpack I like to put him into when we go to games, but it was still in my wife's car from tuesday's game... oh-well I'm still going... looking for his sox hat.. woops, also in the wife's car.. oh-well still going... it takes me three cash stations to get one that works... still going.. after running around like a headless chicken we are on the road by 12:55... get to the cell about 1:20... my son is in one of those "clingy" moods.. he won't walk, he wants to be carried... oh-boy why is the day going so bad??? walk in late and feel a "disturbance in the force" right as we walk in the gates... could have been my arm about to fall off from carrying him from the car... could have been "someone" we passed... finally get to our seats with hotdogs and my son sits quietly eating his dog finally I can relax and enjoy my sons company... till I notice the sky... you would have thought I would have checked a weather report... but it never rains in chicago , especially this summer... so why check the weather??? bad move... first lightening crack (still no rain) and the day-campers start to retreat... and I mean retreat... kids everywhere were flocking to the covered concourses... then at the end of the inning the sox announce to "go for cover"... as if there wasn't enough chaos they yell "fire" ... we work our way to the covered concourse... we were about one foot short of cover and the sky's opened up... we kind of got soaked... people were stopping as soon as they got to dry ground... thankfully the sox had ushers yelling for people to keep moving.. never underestimate the stupidity of people in crowds... we make our way to the gate two ramp and move up... everyone was moving down, so we went away from the crowd... got to the next landing and there was about five people standing around... I kept wondering why everyone was huddling on the landing below us... but like I said never underestimate bla-bla... to make a long story longer it ended up being my shortest outing in about five years... but anyday with my son is always sunny ... tonyho7476
There is no row 2 in 159. Do you mean row 9? I almost went yesterday, glad I didn't. But I'm going tonight, and its supposed to be more of the same. Yeah! And by coicidence, I'll be in row 9...section 158. Not even kidding. Steff
159 does have a row 2.. and a row 1. That is the section just to the left of the BP. 158, 157, and 156 do not start with a row 1.
