Can't blame Crede for that one.  He doesn't have a Vince Carter like vertical.

It did go right off of his glove. I am not blaming him... i am just saying if you give the red sox extra outs... you lose.

How about this:  Was the Iguchi error on Ortiz's grounder a play that should have been made?  Farmer was saying it was a real tough play.  Good catch by PK there.

It was a tough play. A line drive one hop. But he's a major league secondbaseman... and he should make the play. It's not like it took a bad hop or anything, hit a stone or the lip of the grass -- it was just hit hard. Should've been a double play. He's a major leaguer (sorry for being repetitive), he should make that play.

AJ looks every bit as bad at the plate as Uribe does.  He's trying to pull just about every pitch he sees at this point...

Outside of a few good swings in Cleveland, AJP has been awful at the plate for well over a month now. For some guy that swings at EVERYTHING, he sure does take a lot of called 3rd strikes.

Isn't it nice to have two cluesless hitters at the bottom of the line up that don't have a prayer of getting a hit, much less getting a clutch hit.  Maybe Schilling could hit the next 2 batters. :chair

We need to do something about our lineup, and soon. Just too many easy outs, especially with guys who won't walk to save their lives. I'm not a big OPS fan, but you need to be able to get on, even if you're not swinging well at the plate.
